Marketing Copywriter

Remote Full Time

Work closely with the Acquisition Team to produce persuasive and compelling copy for various digital marketing assets, including ad copy, video scripts, landing pages, funnel pages, and email campaigns. Focus on crafting creative and impactful content that drives conversions and sales, while ensuring brand consistency and messaging alignment across all marketing channels.

The Marketing Copywriter is a master wordsmith with the ability to create a compelling, story-driven copy. Candidates should have exceptional writing skills in creating direct response marketing copy for a variety of digital platforms while communicating with other employees via Zoom, Google Mail, and Google Meet.

 

Candidates should be committed to excellence, be the type of person who invests in themselves and their work, and demonstrate a high attention to detail. They should always be responsive and willing to meet each challenge directly.

 

Marketing Copywriter Responsibilities:

  • Creating engaging copy for our paid advertising campaigns
  • Results that produce strong front-end metrics and lead to conversion
  • Conceptualizing, writing, and refining copy across various digital formats, including ad copy, video scripts, landing pages, and product funnels
  • Working with other creatives to produce copy that complements graphics and video content
  • Staying at the forefront of copywriting trends and techniques so content remains fresh, relevant, and highly effective.

 

Requirements:

  • A portfolio showcasing your work is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field and/or related experience
  • 3+ years experience writing direct response copy (do not apply if you just started writing copy or just graduated)
  • Proven experience in writing high-conversion copy for digital platforms, particularly in direct response marketing (ads copy, video scripts, sales copy)
  • A strong understanding of direct response principles that convert
  • Multitasking prowess and excellent time management
  • Ability to execute under tight deadlines
  • Access to high-speed internet (capable of regular video conferencing) of 40 MBs+
  • A dedicated and distraction-free workspace
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
  • Asana Task Management System (or similar + ability to learn immediately)
  • Google Apps - Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive
  • Communication Tools - Google Meet, Zoom
  • Research Tools - Keyword Planner, Google Trends, BuzzSumo, Facebook Insights, SEO tools, Amazon, YouTube, etc

 

Salary: $100,000 per year
