
The Director of Financial Systems & Data Analytics is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s NetSuite ERP system with a focus on financial operations, reporting, and data integrity. The Director of Financial Systems & Data Analytics is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s NetSuite ERP system with a focus on financial operations, reporting, and data integrity. This role ensures system efficiency, accuracy in financial data reporting, and supports decision-making through advanced data analysis and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in NetSuite administration, financial systems, and data analytics to enhance business operations and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain the NetSuite ERP system, including system configuration, customization, and integrations.
Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring minimal business disruption.
Develop and enforce NetSuite best practices, security policies, and user permissions.
Create and maintain NetSuite workflows, saved searches, scripts, dashboards, and custom records to improve operational efficiency.
Provide end-user support, training, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system use.
Support finance and accounting teams by ensuring NetSuite is properly configured for financial reporting, month-end close processes, and audit compliance.
Design and implement financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards to track business performance and key financial metrics.
Work closely with technology, accounting, and operations teams to enhance financial reporting and forecasting capabilities.
Automate financial processes such as revenue recognition, expense allocations, and financial consolidations.
Perform data extraction, cleansing, and transformation to provide accurate and timely business insights.
Develop data models, queries, and reports for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements using data-driven insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NetSuite data with other business intelligence tools.
Manage third-party integrations with NetSuite, including banking, payroll, CRM, and expense management systems.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to implement system enhancements, automations, and new functionality.
Evaluate and recommend new NetSuite modules and third-party applications to optimize system performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience as a NetSuite Administrator or similar role.
Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting in NetSuite.
Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and saved searches.
Experience with data analysis, SQL queries, and business intelligence tools.
Familiarity with NetSuite integrations and API-based connections.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Knowledge of InfusionSoft and Zoho CRM.
NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation Certification.
Experience in financial planning and budgeting processes.
Hands-on experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and Multi-Book Accounting.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or NetSuite Analytics Warehouse.
Previous experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or manufacturing industries.
