Position Overview:

Position Priorities & Focus:

 

COMMUNITY CONTENT CREATION

·      Create or manage the creation of relevant content for BTI's social communities

·      Work with the marketing department to understand short and long term marketing goals to develop effective content strategies

·      Provide vision and collaborate on strategy to help build a sustainable calendar of content, campaigns, and initiatives that drive measurable community engagement

·      Collaborate with the Brand & Organic Marketing Team to create compelling content tailored for different audiences, including graphics, videos, and written posts

·      Monitor social media channels and communities for trends and conversations relevant to the brand; utilize social listening tools to gather insights

·      Employ existing research, the company's existing content library, and AI tools to generate value-driven, share-able, and aligned content within BTI's online communities.

·      Strategize content to provide value and lead BTI audiences on an intentional journey from follower to lead for multiple divisions.

·      Schedule content in the appropriate community groups for automatic posting.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT SUPPORT:

·      Work with the Social Media Manager to support the process of creating relevant content for the company’s front-facing social profiles, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. 

·      Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to help create content for a sustainable calendar of content, campaigns, and initiatives, as needed. 

·      Collaborate with leadership, writers, video editors, and others to create and optimize new and existing content as needed to fulfill the content calendar on schedule.

 

CONTENT MANAGEMENT:

·      Support in coordinating, reviewing, loading, and scheduling organic and social content on multiple platforms, including but not limited to PLANN (or comparable social scheduling platforms), Wordpress, Captivate (or comparable podcast distribution platforms), and others.

Travel:

*Willing to travel to institute events a few times per year to learn about, and engage with, institute programs, philosophies, and our clients. Plus, willing to travel for additional professional training, seminars, etc. a few times per year. 

 

** As travel conditions safely allow. If travel conditions do not allow, events held on location may be substituted for virtual events that accomplish the same goals.

 

Required Experience / Proficiency:

 

1-3 years experience in social media management

 

1-3 years experience in content creation, including design and basic video

 

Proficiency in a variety of social media platforms and results-tracking tools, including the Meta business suite, Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube, and a willingness to learn new platforms and trends quickly

 

UTM Parameters (understand use and ability to read and build)

 

Access to high speed internet, dedicated and distraction free work space and able to meet all requirements of this role while working remotely.

 

Tech savvy with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.

 

Asana Task Management System (or similar + ability to learn immediately)

 

Google Apps - Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive

 

Communication Tools - Google Meet, Zoom

 

Experience with Wordpress, Canva, Descript, and AI Tools like ChatGPT and Poppi preferred, but not required

 

Institute Standards

 

All work will be performed according to institute policies, procedures and standards, as well as in the spirit of the institute’s mission and core values.

 

All institute information will be held as strictly confidential and will be held in accordance with the institute's non-disclosure agreement.

 

Supervising manager will be notified of any issues that cannot be resolved, or deadlines that cannot be met – before the deadline has arrived.

 

The institute’s Event Etiquette Policy will be followed whenever team members are at, or preparing on-site for an event.

 

All monthly institute meetings will be prepared for and attended.

 

Attend and participate in Brave Thinking Masters program, provided for team members’ benefit at no charge, and participate in the weekly Marketing Mastermind related to the program.

 

Participate in institute-wide time tracking.
