The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing marketing campaigns and initiatives by effectively managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables within an iterative and collaborative framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives.They act as a bridge between cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality marketing results with a customer-centric focus.

Overview: The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing marketing campaigns and initiatives by effectively managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables within an iterative and collaborative framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives.They act as a bridge between cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality marketing results with a customer-centric focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Project Planning and Execution:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project vision, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) within an Agile framework. 
  • Facilitate sprint planning sessions to prioritize user stories and create actionable sprint backlogs. 
  • Manage project scope and ensure timely delivery of marketing deliverables through sprint cycles. 
  • Conduct regular sprint reviews to showcase progress and gather feedback from stakeholders. 
  • Conduct sprint retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous process optimization. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment across marketing channels. 
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between marketing teams and other departments like sales and technology. 
  • Foster a culture of transparency and accountability within the marketing team. 
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize marketing strategies. 
  • Regularly review campaign results and make necessary adjustments based on data insights. 
  • Utilize analytic tools and data driven insights to shape future initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Proactively communicate project status updates and key milestones to stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns promptly. 
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure alignment with business goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years experience with a proven track record in project management
  • Proven experience in managing marketing projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including digital marketing strategies, content marketing, social media marketing, and campaign management. 
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver projects on time and within budget. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to measure campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities. 
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana and Trello.
  • Experience managing projects in an Agile environment not required, but strongly preferred.
